Soccer Recap: Upland Comes Up Short

Upland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars. That's two games in a row now that the Highlanders/Scots have lost by exactly two goals.

Upland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Rancho Cucamonga, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Upland will face off against St. Lucy's at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rancho Cucamonga, they will square off against Los Osos at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Los Osos' last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
