Softball Recap: Monday's Win Is Iowa Valley's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Iowa Valley and Lynnville-Sully, and Iowa Valley kept the tradition alive. The Tigers put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 13-1 victory on Monday. Considering the Tigers have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Iowa Valley is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lynnville-Sully, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-17.

Iowa Valley has already played their next contest (against Southeast Warren), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lynnville-Sully does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
