Football Recap: Larned Comes Up Short

Larned extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were outmatched by the Pratt Greenbacks and fell 41-6. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly 35 points.

As for Pratt, they now have a winning record of 2-1. They haven't had any issues with Larned recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Pratt found their leader in sophomore Cade Liggett, who rushed for 104 yards and one score on only 11 carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and one TD. Cresten Pore was another key player, throwing for 149 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 passes.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Larned will venture away from home to challenge Russell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pratt, they will head out to face off against Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
