Basketball Recap: Eastlake Titans vs. Oceanside Pirates
Eastlake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Oceanside Pirates, falling 58-31. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 958th, while the Pirates are ranked 424th).

Despite the defeat, Eastlake had strong showings from Ava Ellorin, who posted nine points and three steals, and Thea Joanne Manabat, who put up four points and three steals. Manabat is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.
