While Strasburg's victory against Rocky Ford wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians won by a run and slipped past the Meloneers 11-10. The high-scoring effort was just what the Indians needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Strasburg let Addi Kent and Payton Weaver run wild. Kent went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Weaver went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI Kent has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Wynne Winter, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

The win got Strasburg back to even at 1-1. As for Rocky Ford, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Strasburg has already played their next match (against Fort Lupton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rocky Ford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-9 victory against Weld Central on the 23rd.
