Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brea Olinda). They breezed by the Pacifica Mariners to the tune of 65-25 on Friday. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while the Mariners are ranked 967th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brea Olinda to victory, but perhaps none more so than Liz Han, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Teven, who put up 15 points.

Brea Olinda is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Pacifica, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.

Brea Olinda wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-55 victory against Mira Costa on the 18th. Pacifica has also already played their next game (against El Modena), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
