The Petaluma Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Vintage 58-41. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Petaluma has managed all season.
It was another big night for Sydney Martin, who scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Emma Hale, who scored ten points.
Petaluma's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Vintage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Petaluma will challenge Casa Grande at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Casa Grande is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Vintage, they will head out on the road to face off against Sonoma Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sonoma Valley has three straight victories, Vintage has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
