Roland took an eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Stilwell, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rangers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Indians on Saturday. This was payback for the Rangers, who suffered a 12-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Roland now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Stilwell, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Roland has already played their next match, a 10-0 defeat against Westville on the 18th. As for Stilwell, they will venture away from home to face off against Hilldale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
