Soccer Recap: Mt. Pleasant's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Mt. Pleasant won the last time they faced Del Mar and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mt. Pleasant Cardinals never let the Del Mar Dons onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of SOFIA PEREZ, who's now up to five this season.

The victory got Mt. Pleasant back to even at 4-4. As for Del Mar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8-1.

Mt. Pleasant wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Yerba Buena on the 30th. Del Mar has also already played their next matchup, an 8-0 defeat against Oak Grove on the 30th.
