Soccer Recap: Chaffey Comes Up Short

Chaffey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Don Lugo Conquistadores. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 815th, while the Conquistadores are ranked 232nd).

Chaffey's loss dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Don Lugo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3-4 record this season.

Chaffey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Don Lugo has already played their next contest (against Campbell Hall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
