Baseball Recap: Eastside Comes Up Short

Eastside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the North Oconee Titans, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Tuesday.

Chase Jordan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for North Oconee, they pushed their record up to 21-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Titans beat Eastside by a score of 9-0 later that day.
