Softball Recap: Meadowcreek Takes a Loss

If Meadowcreek was feeling good fresh off their 31-8 takedown of Berkmar last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs came up short against the Chestatee War Eagles on Monday, falling 14-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-1 back in August.

Meadowcreek's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Chestatee, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-17 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Meadowcreek will square off against Norcross at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Chestatee, they will take on Greater Atlanta Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
