Softball Recap: Kiefer Takes a Loss

Kiefer suffered their closest loss since August 23rd on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hydro-Eakly Bobcats by a score of 6-4.

Kiefer saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sienna Renz, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one run.

Kiefer's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Hydro-Eakly, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kiefer will challenge Sapulpa at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans are facing the Chieftains at the right time seeing as the Chieftains are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Hydro-Eakly, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cyril at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
