Football Recap: Blake Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Blake lost against Paint Branch back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bengals took a 20-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alijah Bah produced another solid effort rushing for 233 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.3 yards per carry for Paint Branch. Bah has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played.

Blake's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Paint Branch, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Blake will square off against Walter Johnson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paint Branch, they will head out to face off against Churchill at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 9.2 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
