Soccer Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Norco Cougars by a score of 1-0. The Huskies were probably out for revenge after losing 3-1 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-2. As for Norco, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will square off against Roosevelt at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Norco, they will challenge King at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
