Soccer Recap: Scotts Valley Gets the Win

Scotts Valley gave up the first goal on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against the Lynbrook Vikings by a score of 3-1.

Izzy Morairty and Taylor Ericson scored all three of Scotts Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

The victory got Scotts Valley back to even at 2-2-2. As for Lynbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scotts Valley will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against North Salinas at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lynbrook, they will face off against Prospect at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lynbrook's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
