Basketball Recap: Brashear Takes a Loss

Brashear played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Obama Academy of International Studies Eagles 69-26. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-21 back in January.

Shayla Washington was Brashear's leading scorer, having posted six points.

Brashear has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Obama Academy of International Studies, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

Coming up, Brashear will challenge Perry Traditional Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Obama Academy of International Studies does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
