Basketball Recap: Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy Takes a Loss

Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Vanguard College Prep, falling 35-13.

Vanguard College Prep was led to victory by Katelyn Taylor and Chloe Ramos. Taylor posted eight points, while Ramos scored eight points. What's more, Taylor also posted an 80% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in November of 2024.

Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Vanguard College Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aspire Alexander Twilight Secondary Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Aspire Stockton Secondary Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Vanguard College Prep, they will square off against Stone Ridge Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
