Soccer Game Preview: St. Lucy's vs. Chino Hills

St. Lucy is 2-8 against Chino Hills since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The St. Lucy's Regents will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chino Hills Huskies at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Wednesday, St. Lucy's didn't have quite enough to beat Upland and fell 2-1. The Regents have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Chino Hills entered their game against Etiwanda on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Chino Hills fell just short of Etiwanda by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for the Huskies seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Chino Hills' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7-4. As for St. Lucy's, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-4.
