Perkins-Tryon lost to Morrison back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Demons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats, sneaking past 7-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Demons.

Perkins-Tryon's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Morrison, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
