Seward won the last time they faced Crete and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bluejays came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seward to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grace Brees, who had ten digs. Another player making a difference was Faith Hibbert, who had nine assists and six digs.

Seward is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. As for Crete, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.
