Baseball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Stearns Minutemen, falling 16-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Minutemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on May 2nd.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Stearns, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will challenge George Stevens Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stearns, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Kent at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
