Canton's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 52-44 win over Meadowbrook Christian. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Meadowbrook Christian still got an impressive performance from Madalyn Fasnacht, who posted 22 points along with eight boards and six steals. Fasnacht has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 15 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Ward, who went 6-for-11 on her way to 16 points.

Canton's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Meadowbrook Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canton will take on Mansfield in a holiday battle at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Meadowbrook Christian, they will be home for the holidays to greet Belleville Mennonite at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
