Platteview entered their tilt with North Bend Central on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since September 17, 2024.

Paisley Peklo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on six hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Paige Wiederholt was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Khloe Hartman was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Platteview's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for North Bend Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-12 record.

Coincidentally, Platteview and North Bend Central will both be playing Cass the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
