Softball Recap: St. Pius X Comes Up Short

St. Pius X was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Notre Dame Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Lancers have lost by exactly 15 runs.

St. Pius X's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Notre Dame, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

While St. Pius X had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:45 p.m. on Friday.
