Baseball Game Preview: Pittsfield Generals vs. Frontier Regional Red Hawks

Pittsfield has won three straight games at home, while Frontier Regional has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Generals will host the Red Hawks at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

If Pittsfield beats Frontier Regional with seven runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Generals were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over Monument Mountain on Monday.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Frontier Regional and Belchertown, and Frontier Regional kept the tradition alive. The Red Hawks put the hurt on the Orioles with a sharp 7-1 victory on Monday.

Frontier Regional's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Pittsfield, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3.
