Soccer Recap: Shikellamy Comes Up Short

Shikellamy lost against Montoursville back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Braves fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Shikellamy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while Montoursville are ranked 62nd).

Shikellamy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Montoursville, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shikellamy will head out to challenge Midd-West at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Montoursville, they will venture away from home to square off against Warrior Run at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Warrior Run will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Montoursville surely won't give up without a fight.
