Soccer Game Preview: Polytechnic vs. University

The Polytechnic Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the University Red Devils at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Polytechnic will be strutting in after a win while University will be coming in after a defeat.

It was a proper cat-fight when Polytechnic took on Escondido Charter on Friday. The Panthers walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Tigers.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, University was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tesoro.

Polytechnic's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for University, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
