Preview: Maranatha Christian vs. Coastal Academy
Maranatha Christian is 3-0 against Coastal Academy since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Maranatha Christian Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Coastal Academy Stingrays at 3:00 p.m. Maranatha Christian is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
Last Tuesday, Maranatha Christian kept a clean sheet against Guajome Park Academy. They blew past the Frogs 7-0. Give Maranatha Christian's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

Meanwhile, Coastal Academy fell victim to Tri-City Christian's stalwart defense last Wednesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were the victim of a tough 3-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles.
Maranatha Christian has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-8-1 record this season. As for Coastal Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2.
Maranatha Christian took their win against Coastal Academy in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 7-0. Will Maranatha Christian repeat their success, or does Coastal Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
