Softball Recap: Vista PEAK Prep Has No Trouble Against Thomas Jefferson

Vista PEAK Prep's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Thomas Jefferson Spartans. The Bison have beaten the Spartans the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Spartans has come to flipping the script.

Bella Renzi made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Renzi was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.

In other batting news, Amara Herrera was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Isabelle Armour also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
