            Elk County Catholic entered their  game against Redbank Valley  on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Elk County Catholic Crusaders fell  52-41 to the Redbank Valley Bulldogs. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in February of 2024.
 It was another big night for  Mylee Harmon, who  went 7 of 9  on her way to 19  points in addition to seven  assists and three  steals for Redbank Valley. Harmon has been hot for a while, having  posted 15 or more points the last 22 times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Kira Bonanno, who  went 5 for 12  en route to 10  points and seven  boards.
Elk County Catholic's defeat  ended  a  16-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 10-3. As for Redbank Valley, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record  this season.
 Elk County Catholic is taking a road trip to  face off against Bradford  at 7:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Redbank Valley, they will challenge East Forest at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
