Soccer Recap: Rosamond Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Rosamond managed to keep up with Bishop Union until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rosamond Roadrunners came up short against the Bishop Union Broncos, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Roadrunners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 961st, while the Broncos are ranked 331st).

Rosamond's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-14-1. As for Bishop Union, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosamond will welcome Kern Valley at 3:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Bishop Union, they will square off against Desert at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Bishop Union's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Desert has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
