Football Recap: Marengo Wins Going Away Against Peotone

Marengo lost to Peotone back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Indians blew past the Blue Devils 41-21. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Although Peotone took the loss, they still got scores from Nick Cronin, Tucker Cain, and Alex Chenoweth.

Marengo's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Peotone, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Marengo and Peotone will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Indians are set to face off against their familiar foe Woodstock North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Peotone will take on rival Wilmington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
