Baseball Game Preview: Wesclin Warriors vs. Columbia Eagles

Wesclin hasn't had much luck against Columbia recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Wesclin has given up an average of 8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Wesclin's offense. They lost 11-0 to Nashville on Friday.

Wesclin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden Peterson, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, while Columbia put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Valmeyer. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Pirates. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Wesclin's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Columbia, they now have a winning record of 15-14.
