Basketball Recap: Riley Bayley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hayfork over Henley

Hayfork's tournament run continued when they took on Henley on Friday. The Hayfork Timberjacks lost 56-36 to the Henley Hornets.

Hayfork's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Bayley, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Annika Collins, who earned four points along with ten rebounds and three steals.

Hayfork now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Henley, the win was the eighth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Hayfork didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 43-37 defeat against Etna on the 7th. Henley has also already played their next game, a 71-25 victory against Del Norte on the 7th.
