Baseball Game Preview: Central Gwinnett Black Knights vs. Dacula Falcons

For the second straight game, Central Gwinnett will face off against Dacula. The Black Knights will be playing at home against the Falcons at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Central Gwinnett has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight losses, while Dacula will come in with five straight wins.

Central Gwinnett fell victim to Dacula and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 15-0.

For Dacula's part, Samuel Jeffcoat looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Jeffcoat has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mj Allen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Asa Guzman was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
