Football Recap: La Plata Takes a Loss + How To Watch

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when La Plata and Chopticon meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Warriors took a 33-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Braves. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Chopticon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayden Chase out in front who threw for 245 yards and three touchdowns. Those three passing touchdowns gave Chase a new career-high. Jaiden Russell was in the mix too, providing Chopticon with two TDs.

La Plata's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Chopticon, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Coming up, La Plata will take on Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chopticon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
