Basketball Game Preview: Los Altos Conquerors vs. San Dimas Saints

The Los Altos Conquerors will face off against the San Dimas Saints at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Los Altos has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.

On Monday, Los Altos sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-43 win over Colony.

Meanwhile, San Dimas waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Storm 68-30. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

San Dimas' win came from a few key players Los Altos will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Anelly Alba, who went 7 of 13 on her way to 16 points along with five assists and five steals. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Verdines-O?Cain, who went 6 for 13 en route to 18 points and five steals.

San Dimas was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as High Tech SD only posted four assists.

San Dimas now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Los Altos, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Los Altos and San Dimas were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in December of 2022, but Los Altos came up empty-handed after a 47-46 defeat.
