After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Golden Sierra, San Juan was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Highlands Scots with points to spare, taking the game 38-24. The Spartans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

San Juan's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-12. As for Highlands, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

San Juan will venture away from home to challenge Mesa Verde at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mesa Verde is on a three-game streak of home losses, San Juan a 16-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change. Highlands has already played their next match (against Golden Sierra), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
