Football Recap: Kingsland Falls Short of Wabasha-Kellogg in the Playoffs

Kingsland and Wabasha-Kellogg squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Kingsland had to settle for second. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 34-14. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 42-26.

Kingsland's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Wabasha-Kellogg, they pushed their record up to 4-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Kingsland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wabasha-Kellogg, they will head out to face off against Spring Grove at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lions' defense has only allowed 13.3 points per game this season, so the Falcons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
