Softball Recap: Providence Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Providence Christian Academy lost against Banks County back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Storm lost 13-5 to the Leopards. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Belle Vann was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Maddie Simmasouk was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Providence Christian Academy now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Banks County, their record now sits at 21-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Providence Christian Academy will face off against rival Rabun County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Banks County is set to square off against their familiar foe Oglethorpe County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
