Softball Recap: West Monona Drops Highest Score of Season Against Ridge View

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Monona). They never let the Ridge View Raptors get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

West Monona pushed their record up to 18-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Ridge View, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

West Monona wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-2 victory against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute on the 26th. Ridge View has also already played their next match (against East Sac County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
