Jasper County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Alcovy Tigers with a sharp 14-1 victory on Thursday. This was payback for the Hurricanes, who suffered a 16-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Coming up, Jasper County will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against First Presbyterian Day at 6:00 p.m. The Vikings will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
