Volleyball Recap: New Diana Comes Up Short

New Diana lost against Brownsboro back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Bears by a score of 2-1.

When it comes to explaining why New Diana lost, don't look at Addi Valle. Despite the final result, she had seven digs and three aces.

New Diana has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season. As for Brownsboro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Diana will venture away from home to face off against Union Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brownsboro, they will head out to square off against Lindale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Bears' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
