Softball Recap: Hillsboro's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hillsboro barely beat Farmington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hawks' pitchers stepped up to hand the Knights a 15-0 shutout on Tuesday. With that victory, the Hawks brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

The win was the third in a row for Hillsboro, bringing their record up to 3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Farmington, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Hillsboro will host DeSoto at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Farmington, they will head out to challenge Jackson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
