Central Springs was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Nashua-Plainfield on Monday. The Panthers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Huskies a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Panthers have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Central Springs now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Nashua-Plainfield, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Central Springs didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-3 defeat against Newman Catholic on the 24th. Nashua-Plainfield has also already played their next contest (against Rockford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
