Softball Recap: Evans Comes Up Short

After flying high against Thomson on Tuesday, Evans came back down to earth. The Knights came up short against the Grovetown Warriors on Wednesday, falling 12-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Knights were not able to get on the board.

Evans' loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Grovetown, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

While Evans had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
