Baseball Recap: Seckinger Takes a Loss

Seckinger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Milton Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 last Tuesday.

Seckinger saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nicholas Fernandez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Seckinger's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Milton, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-14 record this season.

While Seckinger had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
