Soccer Game Preview: Santa Clara vs. Gunn

The Santa Clara Bruins will venture away from home to take on the Gunn Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Santa Clara is headed into Friday's following a draw, the team's first since the third. They and Los Gatos finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday. The outcome might've been different if Kacy Carlos hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited her ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Gunn played against Archbishop Mitty and lost via forfeit.

Gunn is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7-2. With that draw, Santa Clara's record moves to 6-4-4.

Santa Clara skirted past Gunn 1-0 when the teams last played on January 10th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Santa Clara since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
