Football Game Preview: Sun Valley Vanguards vs. Lower Moreland Lions

The Sun Valley Vanguards will venture away from home to square off against the Lower Moreland Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sun Valley has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with seven straight defeats, while Lower Moreland will come in with three straight wins.

On Friday, Sun Valley took a blow against Bishop Shanahan, falling 41-7. While losing is never fun, the Vanguards can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 355th, while the Eagles are ranked 55th).

Lower Moreland hadn't beaten Morrisville on the road since September 28, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Lions walked away with a 22-14 victory over the Bulldogs.

Lower Moreland's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Sun Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
